We are very grateful to Simon Biddle for writing “The First Fifty Years of the Sussex Ornithological Society” in 2012 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Society.

It lists the many achievements of SOS during those five decades. Please note that details of the Officers and Council etc are as at that date and not current.
