Your Sussex, Your Birds
If you are thinking of supporting SOS with a gift or donation, thank you. We will be delighted to accept financial donations, donations of optical equipment, and legacies:
Financial donations
For small donations, the easiest way to donate to SOS is by clicking on the Donate tab at the top of this website.
If you are thinking of donating a larger amount, perhaps for a specific project, you may wish to speak to our Treasurer first. Please email treasurer@sos.org.uk
Donations of optical equipment
If you have binoculars or telescopes that are in good condition we would be happy to accept them, and they would be offered through our Young Birders Scheme. This will support access to expensive optics for those who could not otherwise afford them.

Leaving a gift in your Will
By leaving a gift to the SOS in your Will, you will be making a lasting contribution that will benefit Sussex’s birds.
We grant funds each year to help improve habitats in Sussex for birds and to help other conservation bodies purchase new nature reserves or add land to existing ones. You can read more about our work on the Our Work With Birds, and Our Work With People pages.
We also support initiatives to inspire others to care for birds, such as our Young Birders Scheme.
Setting aside some money in your Will, however big or small, helps us to continue our vital work conserving Sussex’s wonderful birds and their homes.
