Scientific Committee

This committee oversees the Society’s technical and research work, including bird surveys, record management, species verification, and the publication of the Sussex Bird Report. It also supports nationally coordinated bird monitoring schemes, advises on conservation priorities, and ensures that SOS’s data and publications meet the highest scientific standards.
