SOS Grant Applications
We offers grants to support projects that promote the study and conservation of wild birds, with a particular focus on those species that the Society considers to be a priority in Sussex.
Our Donations policy outlines the kind of grants we offer and a list of priority species, and is closely aligned to our charitable objects:
- To record and study wild birds in the county of Sussex
- To assist in the conservation of the wild birds of Great Britain
- To engage, inspire and educate people to enjoy, appreciate and understand birds and their habitats
Whether you’re improving habitats, conducting research, or running an educational initiative we’d love to hear from you, and we are particularly keen to support local community projects.
If you are thinking of applying for a grant for a particular project and would like more information, please read through the policy first and then contact our Treasurer at treasurer@sos.org.uk.
Please note: monies will be paid upon receipt of invoice for materials or work done and supporting evidence of project completion.
