Welcome to Our Work With Birds, where we celebrate, study and give voice to the birds that share our woodlands, hedgerows, farmland, wetlands and coasts.
Since our foundation, we have committed ourselves to three core principles:
Recording and studying wild bird populations, and gathering data to deepen knowledge of their ecology, behaviour and distribution.
Conservation – supporting efforts to safeguard bird species and their habitats, from funding nest-box deployments to backing habitat restoration and land-management projects.
Engagement & Education – inspiring people of all ages to appreciate birds, their lives and their homes. Through outreach, education and collaborative projects, we aim to foster a widespread appreciation for birds and a strong sense of responsibility toward their future.
Each year we collect thousands of observations and sightings, helping create an up-to-date and robust picture of birdlife across our region. We use this data to produce annual reports and support targeted conservation initiatives.
By backing habitat preservation projects, supporting grassroots efforts – whether installing nest boxes or supporting our partners to buy key parcels of land, we ensure that birds have safe places to thrive.
And by connecting with communities, organising events, and sharing what we learn, we hope to build a future where people and birds flourish side by side.
